Both are fine, and the calorie difference isn't all that much. They are both good sources of protein. The nuts are likely more convenient and easier to take with you on the go, but a boiled egg is a decent snack as well.
No reason not to use both as snacks (alternate). You may find one satisfies you more or longer than the other.
