Is it wrong to want to be needed and liked? ?
- PrinceLv 54 weeks ago
It is pointless to want that in a vacuum. The ONLY way to be needed and liked is to be useful. Make yourself literally needed, don't wish for it pointlessly in an empty way. Adopt a puppy and give it excellent care and loving attention and it loves and needs you, for real. Have or adopt a baby, and the same thing. Volunteer at a soup kitchen and they come to depend on you, rely on you, and yes, really need you. Wishing does not make it happen, only actions do.

No it is definitely not wrong to be needed. If people need you then they have confidence in your ability to help them.

"Wrong"? Wrong in what way?? Wrong to whom? It's extremely commonplace to want to be needed and liked. I'm not sure what the hell you mean by 'wrong'.

Only if you change who you are just so you're accepted.

It is a natural human instinct to seek out connection and a sense of belonging, and most people do so throughout their life. Humans are pack animals, and most people are not lone wolves.
