Tongue burn?

I’ve been drinking hot things (tea, coffee, etc.) for over 20 years and my tongue ALWAYS burns when I do. I thought by now it would have stopped or my tongue would get used to it but nope, always have to drink my tea and coffee warm and not hot. Anyone know why or any tips to stop it?

Leave it longer before you take the first drink.

Let your drinks cool. Your tongue heals from damage very quickly, so you won't build up an immunity to hot liquids.

I went to my Dr. the other day and said: "Hey Doc! Every time I move my arm this way it really hurts!"

Doc says; "Then don't move your arm that way.....that will be $90"
