  • If you buy 3 you get 7 for free. Yep.

3 bars for $4 would be $1.33 each, sold individually

so 7 at $1.33 each would be $9.33

"A" drug store is selling 3 candy bars for $4 .

what would 7 candy bars cost

NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION $ 4.00 at "A" drug store may ONLY be the price if a person buys the QUANTITY of 3 candy bars

..a single candy bar .. purchased individually the price may be different

a person can buy candy bars at many different stores or different candy bars

the SPECIAL selling price of 3 bars for $4 for that SALE is equal to paying $1.33 per candy bar ...

.. one should not ASSUME a 7th candy bar is priced at $ 1.33

That would really depends. Some sales are like 3 for $4 but may charge full price if you only by one (or do not buy in lots of 3).

$9.34 because they round the 7th bar a penny

    $9 and 33 cents............

  • Assuming there is no "3 for $4" discount:

    One candy bar = $4/3 = $1.33

    Seven cady bars = 7*$1.33 = $9.33

It will cost $9.33 before tax

    • I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment; I chose to go through the process and kind of describe how I solved it, rather than spew numbers and the solution

Depends on where you buy them. At SAMs

Club you can buy a entire box for less than

$7.00 most likely. That is over 20 candy bars.

Ok? Oh candy is junk food except for dark

Chocolate like mounds. They are worth having

A few times a week. But it's best to only buy

Them one at a time so you don't over eat. Ok?

$4 divided by 3 = price per bar

    multiply by 7
