If you are from Scotland, are you considered Scottish or British?

Could you be considered both or just strictly Scottish?

Scottish. Scotland will always be Scotland. Britain is just a coalition of separate states Formed together to work together as one.

You're considered Scottish. Scottish people are British geographically and historically speaking, but the Scots are a proud nation, and largely refer to themselves as Scottish.

If you're from the country of Scotland, you are typically Scottish. Now you could be an Indian or a black man and be born in Scotland and you would still be called Scottish because that's where you're born. Scotland is a part of the UK so you would still be considered a member of the UK.
