Is it still plagiarism if you credit the artist?

Why would you redraw someone's artwork only to credit them?

Yes copying someone else drawing is plagiarism but if you're going to credit them then just take or buy the drawing and reference them.

    Just draw your own stuff.

Yes and no. If you copy you can learn. If you copy you can give someone a piece of art they could not otherwise have such as a famous work by an Old Master. If you copy one man's work that is plagiarism, even academics do this and get caught. If you copy work by three other men (or women) that is research.

Copying it to sell is illegal, it's copyright infringement and plagiarism. Crediting the artist without their approval is still copyright infringement.

If anyone copies anyone's art that is plagarism.

Not usually if you credit the artist or originator of the work.

Of course you can copy someone's drawing - artists often do that for practice. But don't pretend to anyone that it's anything but a copy.

Yes, it's plagiarism. Copying anyone's work and passing it off as your own is precisely that.

If you just copy the drawing, then it's plagiarism.
