Should you keep your eyes peeled for a giant boa constrictor if you are knocking around New South Wales today?

The skin of a 3m long boa constrictor was found at a construction site in the suburb of Silverdale. The invasive species from South America is a serious threat to wildlife in Australia.

"This thing would take a full-sized kangaroo mate, no problem," Mr Cade of Australian Snake Catchers said. "The fear is that a young kid will be playing in the back yard, and this snake will mosey on up."

Hopefully the snake will be found by an Aussie family if it's very lucky. So that it will survive and be relocated.
