Why do people glorify sociopaths / psychopaths ?

    They always look for something different.

    It makes them feel better.

    because they are "successful"

    Capitalism is based on the assumption that we ALL are superselfish by nature. If you believe that, sociopaths/psychopaths are the "best adapted"

    There is no such thing as objective morality. Moral nihilism makes the most sense, however, we are all still humans therefore we try to justify our "emotions", "feelings" by coming up with moral laws (also, brain structures play a good role at the development of morality like the vmPFC and the OFC, most likely developed to help us survive). Psychopaths/sociopaths can come in varieties. Some lack morality. Others emotions. Etc. The point is that they are not "set back" by morality like majority of humans. This opens a lot of possibilities for them...some may be "good" (in our perspectives) while others may be "bad" (like torturing etc.).

    Also, some of these people are known to be charming. Especially since they can lie without "getting nervous" or "feeling bad" for the other person, thus makes them good manipulators.

    because they have no conscience and so people envy them because they want no conscience so they can do whatever they want and get whatever they want like murder rape robbery
