are kurds of iraq and syria muslims?

    Mostly, as I read. But the Kurds were careful to show they were tolerant of other religions. I don't know how heartfelt that was with them. But so far it looks that way. They are supposedly tolerant Muslims.

    Yes...Sunni sect. But they are also diverse; so they have other religions as well:

    Some are Muslims, some are Christians, some are Yazidis.
