Getting credit after Chapter 7 Bankruptcy?

My Chapter 7 Bankruptcy was discharged approximately 6 months ago. Since that time, I have gotten a secured credit card and have opened a credit builder account loan. My credit score has gone from the high 500's to 652, and increases a few points every month. My question is - how long does it typically take to get unsecured loans/credit cards. In no way do I want to rack up any debt, just wondering how long it takes, since my bankruptcy shows on my credit report.

Depends on your income and the loan, but lets go with 7-10 years...

If your credit score continues to increase you may be able to get a unsecured credit card. But the Chapter 7 will remain on your report for a long period..

Chapter 7 bankruptcy is deleted 10 years from the filing date.
