Is it pathetic for someone to block people who don't give them the best answer?

Just read this from a right-wing profile

"If you are wondering why I blocked you, and you are a conservative, it's because you gave a best answer to the "worst" answer, just to flame them. I have better things to do with my time than write answers that are ignored. Is it too much to ask for legitimate consideration for my efforts? I don't mind at all if the best answer goes to someone else who responded. I'm not going to write 500 word answers just to have them ignored and deliberately passed over while you choose the worst answer. You are banned to remind me not to answer your questions."

Blocking is pathetic for any reason.

If a person needs to be "blocked", Reporting them is more effective.

Get them removed from the site altogether.
