    No, but be aware that an infection in the nipple could lead to serious problems later on.

    They can, depending on how you were pierced. I know because it happened to a friend of mine - her first attempt at breast-feeding "sent milk flying everywhere", in her words. Sorry if that's TMI, lol - I know it doesn't happen to everyone, but some people don't get lucky with it.
