Since you are selling your time for money, any paid job is a business. Business is about financial transactions. Often we think of office jobs in the private sector as business jobs.

Jobs are not businesses. Businesses are not jobs.

Some people with businesses might consider their business a job but its not.

Typically, if you get a paycheck with taxes taken out, its a job.

If no taxes are taken out, it might be a 1099 which indicates an independent contractor which is a business.
