What energy level does the electron reach?

This excited atom then emits a photon of wavelength 7458.9 nm.

What energy level does the electron fall to?

    from the rydberg equation

    .. 1/L = Rh * (1/n1² - 1/n2²)

    .. 1/n2² = 1/n1² - 1/L * (1/Rh)

    .. 1/n2² = 1/1² - 1/(93.8x10^-9m) * 1/(1.097x10^7/m)

    .. n2 = 6

    then..

    .. 1/L = Rh * (1/n1² - 1/n2²)

    .. 1/n1² = 1/6² + 1/(7458.9x10^-9m) * 1/(1.097x10^7/m)

    .. n1 = 5
