Can I trust a psychologist about my obsessive thoughts w/o being committed ?
I'm a very young man and they torment me all day and even make me wake up earlier than usual as it's now in my part of the U.S.

No. Interacting with anyone with power over you carries the risk that they will exercise that power.

A mental health psychologist is only interested in your mental health... So, unless you need it, why would they inflict the cost of having you committed when OCD can be dealt with in standard sessions.

A private psychologist should be okay. But, its not therapy when you have to put on a monkey performance because, you're afraid of them ruining your life, is it?

You sound paranoid with "in my part of the U.S."...lol .... voluntary commitment may help ... dude take some days to relax at a secured institution.
