No, although there is a snake called the "worm snake". It is really a snake, though.

No. Snakes evolved from a lizard. Snakes and lizards are vertebrates, with internal bony skeleton and a backbone. Worms are invertebrates. They have no internal skeleton or backbone. I used to have baby albino kingsnakes. They were pinkish colored and somewhat translucent when they hatched, and one of my relatives said they look like worms. LOL
