Why is it that people who are always in car accidents blame everyone else when they've been in 5 or more accidents?

2 or more for people in accidents with commercial vehicles.

Part of the problem is calling these incidents "accidents." Human error isn't an accident any more than safe driving is an accident. Both are a matter of making choices, making decisions. If a moose runs out into the highway and causes a crash, you could call that an accident. But we two cars in an intersection fail to avoid colliding, at least one drive did something wrong. And doing wrong things doesn't happen by accident.

Good drivers avoid crashes, even crashes that would have been someone else's fault. Poor drivers fail to avoid crashes; that is, if you fail to avoid crashes then you are a poor driver. And it's human nature to resist the idea of oneself being incompetent, of oneself being to blame.

A lady sued McDonnalds because her brat kid wasn't happy after she bought him a happy meal

A guy drank too much and blamed the bar for his accident.

A lady sued McDonnalds after she spilled hot coffee on herself.

This is the world we live in these days. Everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault.

The hot coffee incident: The coffee was 20F hotter than McDonald's standard. The franchise owner had previously been disciplined for NOT adhering to standards, for thus creating this liability risk. There was more to it than a big award for a relatively minor injury.

What an observation from a gutless no balls blue face , if you weren't there to see what happened how can you comment on who's at fault?

It's irrelevant as insurers tell you never to admit blame. It ties their hands in negotiations.

Also, because people are sometimes wrong about who's at fault. If you admit fault when not actually at fault, big problem.
