Animals tend to have senses in some things better then we can and may detect "ghosts". There is no study or answer as to if or when a cat may see something.

I do know that my first cat's ghost did come and visit a few times and one time the cats were all staring at a corner in the room where nothing was there - they were not afraid, but I believe they did happen to see Mitten's ghost at the time.

Cats can see in the dark much better than humans. What you don't see they can see, just not ghosts.

They don't see ghosts but they can see spirits, Whisky, Vodka, Gin, Brandy etc, etc.

Cats can't see ghosts because ghosts don't exist.

The same age as humans do. Never.

I dunno. My kitten just chases/stares at nothing all the time. Her eyes get all big like she's watching prey, then dart around attentively like she's following something, but there's nothing there. My other cats do this, too. But I'm wondering when it is that kittens usually gain this ability.
