Can someone please tell me what this is?

It's driving me insane and I can't find it while it on the internet. I know it's a blurry picture but it's basically a thin bar with four holes that you put nuts and bolts into. The video doesn't tell me the actual name of it. :/

Not nuts and bolts. More like bevel headed screws. Like wood screws would sit in the hole taper against taper. As it is metal that would join a broken piece together again.. Really no different than a right angle bracket made out of metal that is screwed into the ends of 2 boards to hold them at right angles like a strengthening piece. Where do you see them.? Not often but they are used occasionally. maybe on a cabinet or vanity... or a wood box? To hold something rigidly together you need 2 holes per side otherwise it would pivot on one hole per side.

      Flathead is the proper term.

Looks like a mounting bracket for a garage door opener, but they have many other uses as well.

BS. GDOs mounted with very large, say, 1 1/2" Ell shaped brackets that mate together and have many holes to accommodate their motor mounts and whatever holes in beams that support the rollers.

Home Depot sells them. In fact most every hardware store has them as well. The one in your hand appears to be zinc plated. So it is called a mending plate. "Zinc plated mending plate" to be more exact as to what is in your hand.

Other configurations are "Corner Brace", "Flat Corner Brace", and "T Plate".

It's a thingie. When you put a shelf on top of a desk, these thingies will keep the top from falling. Provided that you use the right size screws & place 1/2 on the shelf & 1/2 on the back of the desk.

Looks like just a pain old four inch bracket, probably galvanized to prevent rust. They have a million uses.
