Why don't retail corporations care anymore about good service, good attitudes, and treating each other with respect?

Instead it's all about pushing product, having associates act like robots, and making sure the place is exactly zoned and presented like corporate rules. Theres also too many stupid rules and things taken away constantly to leave no room for enjoyment or have perks.

Managers get away with treating people like crap.

  • Corporate doesn't so much care about that, the care about the store making money. The person managing the store should care about people having good attitudes, good customer service etc.

Not all managers treat people like crap. I've worked for nice managers and some that weren't nice at all. The managers that weren't nice or caring, I quit and moved on.

Because they only care about money, didn't you know that?

Why don't you form your own corporation and get low paid workers to provide good service, good attitudes, and treating each other with respect?

    Not so easy.
