Why is it children with just a Saudi father can get citizenship in the country?

I’ve read those who have a Saudi father regardless of what race the woman is, can get citizenship. However those who have just a mother who’s Saudi but the man is non Saudi, cannot apply for citizenship unless they’re 18.

Is it due to sexist laws?

oops. you didnt mean "race"... cause there are white race, black race, brown race, yellow raced, all races within the Saudi people... maybe you meant nationality (country of origin)... according to Saudi law.. the child takes the nationality of the father..... (unless you are of an American parent, then you have dual citizenship)

Becuase its premeditated. The government preferes 1 child familys and accepts them first above other immigrants waiting for citizenship
