The International Border runs through the inside of the Haskell library in both Derby Line, Vermont, USA and Stanstead, Quebec, Canada. Zero miles, zero feet, zero inches. Masking tape on the floor shows the division.

This brings up: what is the Southernmost Canadian place? An embassy somewhere?

There are lots of them that are on the Border.

I will pick just one city that you should know.

Niagara Falls. It sits right on the border 1/2 in Canada, 1/2 in the United States. Can't get any closer than that. Zero Miles.

Zero miles. There are lots of Canadian cities right on the border. Windsor, Ont., for example.

Haskell Free Library and Opera House has the front part in Derby Line, Vermont, and the back of the house in Stanstead, Quebec.

Various cities in Canada are right on the US border. For instance, Windsor (Ontario) is right across the bridge from Detroit. Zero miles, approximately!
