Dosage calculations help?

A patient is to receive 12.5 mg orally once a day. Each scored tablet contains 25 mg. How many tablet(s) would the patient receive?

    ONE HALF TABLET A DAY----12.5 is HALF of 25.

    Half a tablet of 25 mg = 12.5 mg per day

    I really hope you're not in a nursing program. One of the most important things nurses do is figure dosage. Getting it wrong can kill someone. You really need to figure out grams and milligrans. There are 1000 milligrams in a gram. From there, it's pretty easy to answer these questions.
