One year old is outgrowing size 6 diapers, what now?
He was always a big baby he was born 9lbs. Currently he's a year and 3 months, he wears a size 6 diapers and is already outgrowing them. Is he too young to potty train? Or will pull ups be as efficient as regular diapers? (In clothing size he is a size 3T and shoe size is 5. He's a big baby)

He needs to go on a diet, you are feeding him too much. It is better to start now as it won't be so difficult, but he needs a balanced diet because being overweight or just eating unhealthy goods causes to a shorter life expectancy and many health problems. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions

Look for size 7 diapers.
As for potty training, it depends on the child. Very few kids under the age of 2 have the mental connection to identify when they have the urge/need to use the toilet. That is the first step in determining whether a child is ready to potty train. All the sitting on the potty, readying books, and giving rewards won't work if the child doesn't yet have the intellectual connection and the physiological ability to control their elimination.

You just buy larger diapers. He's too young to potty train because he doesn't yet have the language skills or bladder control to understand what you want him to do.

He's not too young to begin potty training but you know your child better than strangers here. If you think he's ready (and not just because he's outgrowing his daipers) then give it a try but do some research before you start.
