he has gotten to bounce around the nba, recruit other superstars, hold gms hostage to bring in the guys he wants to play with, and play in a historically weak conference for 15 years, just to come up short more often than not and end up with a 3-6 finals record.

he will surpass a lot of statistical records because he's the best player in an era completely geared toward increasing offense.

mj, magic, kareem, bird, and bill russell are in the first tier of all-time great nba players. lebron is in the second tier with shaq, hakeem, kobe, wilt, and duncan. so somewhere between 6th - 11th all time.

He's good, but he's no Wilt Chamberlain or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Contrary to popular belief, there is actually no such thing as a greatest player of all time. There are only greatest of eras. LeBron and Curry are the greatest players of the 2010's era

yes since 2006 maybe. Before that era, MJ. And before MJ, Larry Bird. And before Bird, there was Dr J. Being of an all time is like being "for eternity" which is not possible since time is very long. After your death, there is always the greatest player again in the era. got it?
