Windows Defender isn't firewall.

That is inviting trouble that could turn your puter to a doorstop.

You don't disable your firewall at any time for any reason. If a piece of software or website requires it then it is rogue (or a hacker) and will damage/infect your PC with malware or worse.

You don't as there's no such thing as "Windows Defender Firewall".
Windows Defender is an antimalware product and Windows Firewall is a first line defense against intrusion. i.e. they're two separate programs/applications.

Unless you know what you are doing you shouldn’t disable it entirely, you will leave the computer vulnerable to attack. Most programs that needs access through the firewall will configure themselves automatically

A firewall always has an exclusion table per APP executable. open windows defender and add your executable to the allowed list. Or disable it altogether from control panel security
