Will planting the same bulbs 2 weeks apart extend the blooming time?

No, it won't.  Bulbs and other spring flowers grow and bloom when triggered by light, heat, and the earth's rotation, so they're all going to respond the same.  Extend blooming time by mixing in bulbs that have a "late spring" vs. "early spring" blooming time.

No because tulips for example will be triggered to start growing at the same time.

the ones planted earlier will have just a little bit more root.
