Well, considering it's actually grown almost 70% since he took office, I'd say not very well.

Under the Constitution it is Congress, not the President, that determines how much spending there will be and democrats in Congress have refused to cut spending. Remember how they were blaming Trump for shutting down the government if he didn't sign their budget busting spending bill? Who did you support on that one?

Trump supporters continue to blame others for the mess Trump creates. Stop backing this political thug and do the right thing. Impeach him.

Ever hear the quote “congress holds the purse strings”?

If the government is overspending you will have to ask Pelosi to cut back.

ask the congress they hold the purse strings

what was within Trumps power to do on his own he has done, the congress especially the first two years when republicans had it all, has been a huge problem

How are those promises from Democratic freshmen in the House going about doing the people's business?   LOL

Update to commentator:  Symbolic votes that have no chance of passing is not doing the people's business.   LOL

Notice how liberals ignore the fact that Congress spends the money, not the president.

    LOL

  • Not good. He said he would run the country like his businesses...so far it's the only promise he's kept!

"Federal deficit estimated at $984B, highest in seven years"

"...The deficit, which has grown every year since 2015, is $205 billion higher than it was in 2018, a jump of 26 percent..."

"The final Treasury Department figures for the fiscal year, which ended on Sept. 30, will be published later this month and could include worse news.

Previous Treasury estimates projected the deficit for the year surpassing $1 trillion."
