No place in England is more than 75 miles (120 km) from the sea.

The furthest you can be from the sea in England is 70 miles.

??? You only need to look at a map to see that England has an extensive coastline, with interruptions by the border with Wales and the border with Scotland. In proportion to its land area, England has one of the longest coastlines of any country in the world which is not actually an island.

Is your question incomplete? Are you really asking how far the central point of England is from the sea?

England has a coastline. So for much of it there are no miles at all to the sea.

What are you muttering about? Your question makes absolutely no sense at all, you obviously didn't even read it.

England is NOT an island. But it is the largest country within the island of Great Britain (“great” just means it’s the largest single island in the British Isles).

No more than 70 miles ( at the furthest).

    extract.

"Coton in the Elms is a village and parish in the English county of Derbyshire. At 70 miles (113 km) from the coast, it is the furthest place in the United Kingdom from coastal waters."

Most of the English coast is on some sea (Irish, North, Celtic), but some is on the Channel, a bit is on the Atlantic.
