microwave rusted up bad under turntable. not even a year old. should i buy a new one?

You need to re-evaluate your microwave cooking technique. You are allowing entirely too much liquid to spill, and accumulate, and you aren't cleaning it adequately.

The rust would not be there
if the unit was being maintained to a reasonable standard.

The computer software saw the word turntable and it send your question to music players.
If the rust affects the operation of the turntable then you may need to buy a new one. Or if the rust makes the oven fall apart, you need a new one. if the rust is surface rust, you can remove it with some vinegar. Soak a piece of cloth or sponge in vinegar and put it on the rust spot overnight and see if it is gone by the morning.

I googled rusted microwave and there a whole lot of sites that tell you how to fix it.
