Why do Mosquitos exist & can they be eliminated?

    Obviously annoying of which to completely irradicate them would have to take some genius thinking about!!!???!!!

    pure blind chance is why they exist. There is no purpose to anything in nature in the sense that you want an answer to the "why" of it. We could possibly poison the waters to the point that mosquitoes could not reproduce, but then we could not use the waters ourselves either, and thus to kill off skeeters means to kill off ourselves.

    They’re source of food for some animals. And I think the male ones contribute as pollinators. The females are the ones who suck your blood for the eggs. Probably you can eliminate them to some extent but not completely. In the end they exist because they’re animals just like you. They want to live, eat, and find mates just like everyone lol.
