What's the best GPU for a gaming computer under £250?

Building first PC

I have found some parts for a computer:

Either AMD Ryzen 5 2600x or 3600x

ASUS PRIME B450-PLUS

16GB DDR4

I now need a GPU. I was looking at the RX 590, RX Vega 56 and the GTX 1060 6GB or 1660/1660 Ti

Which would be the best to get and which version?

Are you sure you need a GPU? Your game may run just fine with that Mobo and CPU that you already have. The newer CPU have video capabilities built in. Give it a try.

GeForce is better for more vibrant colors.

ATI is better for more realistic tones.

also, Intel CPUs are better for more raw power.

AMD CPUs are better for processing multiple threads at once.

so if you do games with tons of stuff onscreen, then Intel. if you play games that do tons of stuff in the background, and require multiple processing threads, get AMD.

and if your game is very beautiful and colorful, NVIDIA. else, if realistic humans and lots of closeups on faces are of greater interest, AMD does it.
