    Bicycle Blue Book.

    It's a real thing.

    BIKE value drops like cars.

    30% once bought

5-10% each year depending on quality.

Bike is worth next to nothing. Value is in eyes of the holder.

donate it, write off $5-20.(most bike Co-op will just trash it due to age/safety)

Mint condition I'd say FULL retail of time made.

Quality has gone up many times over, out dated specs.

Like it or not, all the previous answers are correct. A used bike is only as much as someone is willing to pay. It's not rare or collectible if that's what you're thinking. If you find the right person willing to part with $50 to $100, take the money & run!

Serial numbers are usually stamped on the bottom bracket.  That's the underside of the bike between the pedals.  And it will NOT help you find the value.  Used bikes are only as much as a prospective customer is willing to pay.  In this case...I'll give ya a dollar.  You pay the shipping.  Sorry.
