Does a 100 year flood increase in chance as the time period gets shorter from the 100 year mark?

Update:

or is the chance still 1% in any given year?

The 100 year flood on FEMA maps refers to the a 1% probability that the flood level at that location will meet or exceed that amount of flooding during any given year.
