When you’re watching tv or a film, do you ever research the definition of terminology or words used in the character‘s dialogue?

Yes especially when I'm reading. It makes me feel stupid but at least I'm catching up while I can. Only terminology I don't care for is "yolo" or "swag"

    Nope...what I don't understand usually becomes apparent.

    Yes I do, quite often.

I watch a fair amount of British shows and I remember in one, a character said something about "Peps and Tessas"

I had no idea what that was and consulted my friend, "google".

  • If it is a word I am unfamiliar with sometimes I will.

Any opportunity to enrich one's vocabulary shouldn't be passed up.
