Pharmaceutical companies oversell the benefits of their products while glossing over any side effects or risks.

Doctors are inundated with drug companies promising kickbacks or other perks to prescribe their drugs.

Why...? To make money of course.

Pharmacists just give you the drugs your doctor wrote a prescription for. They may have some medical knowledge and could possibly write a recommendation to your doctor but at the end of the day it is your doctors decision not the pharmacists.
