Why are democrats so into identity politics?

Why treat people based on their demographic attributes? Why not treat people as individuals based on their individual merits?

Identity politics skirt anyone from having to think about the Dim's policies, their corruption and deception. With identity politics, you're just a Dim, and you adopt whatever malfeasance the Dims have without knowing about it.

Even though trump insulted justices and said they couldn’t judge his case because of where they were from? And when trump is saying that Mexicans are scary and Mexico is sending us their scariest? Take a look in the mirror hypocrite.

Fascism, communism and national socialism all share in common the explicit premise that the individual must subordinate himself to society’s needs, or as Hitler would phrase it: ‘Society’s needs come before the individual needs.’ - [found online]

There demacrates there not smart enough to know anything different.....look at kamala Harris in her last debate when she was asked how what gonna do for the country and why voters should choose her over the rest of the libs and trump, her reaponse was she hates trumo and he is the worst president and sje hates him.....well lady its a dem debate! I'm pretty sure everyone in the room hated him lol and that still doesnt tell us why we should choose her over eberyone else. Like I said there stupid.

  • Identity politics is all the democrats have when we are experiencing a boom economy. The Economy is Trump's "Captain America" shield. Normally they try to exploit class envy and race hatred. When there are 3,000,000 more job opportunities than people to fill them; envy falls by the wayside. Race could be an issue but minorities are included in the economic boom and Republicans are loudly cheering for that fact. When Trump announced the lowest black unemployment rate in history, democrat lawmakers sat on their hands. So, all that's left is identity politics, which is also backfiring, because it makes democrats appear to be snobs.

It's a "divide and conquer" mentality. Turn different groups against the opposition for different, unsupportable reasons.

Something tells me that buzz phrase “identity politics” was just burning a hole in the pocket of your intellect and you just had to whip it out and spend it. I think you’ve wasted your money though, because simple common sense would suggest that a politician of ANY political party would have to consider demographic attributes and other such ‘non-individual’ generalities because obviously politics is a numbers game and obviously candidates from the different parties know what parts of the country and what socio-ecomomic strata their voters are coming from when they’re running for office or trying to stay in office. Why would they NOT take such factors into consideration? They’re not spending all that time and money to lose elections or end their political careers, are they? If you’re opening up a high end clothing boutique, are you going to do it in some inner city ghetto neighborhood? No, you would obviously take “demographics” into consideration unless you want your business to fail.

Identity politics is racist to its core, so it's no wonder the party that birthed the Klu Klux Klan would embrace it.
