Is it wrong to ask the same question multiple times?

It isnt, some people like the one before, are just assholes and dont give you an answer that actually helps you

People who do this, are not serious about an answer, but just want others to agree with what they want to do, or give the answer they want. If you've made your mind up about an answer, it looks silly to post the sane question multiple times.

No it's just highly frustrating so its a subjective question.

On Yahoo!Answers ? Yes. Posting the same question in 2 or 3 appropriate categories at the same time is explicitly allowed, but posting one every week or even more often is a violation of the guidelines

As long as you dont ask back to back. Give it some time or rephrase the question with other information.

No I guess not as long as not answered yet.

It's either a sign of desperation, or it's trolling. Depending on what the question is, it can also be spamming.

It depends on the subject and the person who is asking. Psychologically, this makes the truth to come to surface, and this also teaches you to how to handle the other person.
And until you have learned the subject, it's better you ask

That depends on what the question is and what the answers have been.
Some people are just trolls asking and re-posting ridiculous questions - those should be gone.
Some people ask what appears to be an honest question but then re-post it repeatedly even when they have had good answers the first ten times they posted the question - they just don't like the answers they are getting even though at least some of the answers are actually the right answer or a good answer.
Some people re-post the same question too soon - they don't give it time to see if anyone answers. Chances are, if no one answered the first time - it isn't going to get an answer 30 minutes later either.
In my opinion, if someone truly feels they didn't get a good answer, then they should try posting on a different day at a different time of the day. Many users have patterns to when they are online and a question might get a different set of people seeing the question if they just wait a day or two and then re-post at a different time.

Not if you think that person is lying or you suffer from short term memory loss
