A photon of green light is capable of ejecting an electron from a piece of metal. What other colors should also be capable of this?

    Blue, indigo, violet, ultraviolet, x-rays and gamma rays. All if those have more energy. E = hv. h = Planck constant, v= frequency.

    any photons of higher energy than green

    and those would be from farther along the spectrum toward violet

    none of the visible ones. Some ultraviolet ones would be capable of ejecting two or more electrons from the same metal
