I am about to get laid off because of the gm workers strike. I was wondering if there was any way I could sue their labor union?

You can sue, but the case WILL be tossed before a hearing is even scheduled.

ITS the UNITED STATES.. YOU CAN SUE anyone for anything you want to if you have enough to pay the lawyer.

No. Unions have the right to strike.

A successful lawsuit requires you to prove negligence. There is none. Even if you got a judge to hear the case, the union would blame GM and GM would blame the union.

This person NEVER signed up for a union. He/she works for a GM supplier

No, you can't sue the union.

Unfortunately, No. You get to join the club with the rest of us about whom neither the unions nor Government Motors care.

If you’re denied unemployment benefits, yes. Otherwise, if they’ve given proper notice, it’s obviously something out of their control.

No you can't sue their labor union. Why do you blame the labor union and not GM.

Did Government Motors lock anyone out of a plant? How did Government Motors prevent anyone from working?
