Have you noticed that your shoes really do make or break an entire outfit?

I honestly think that your shoes really define much of your style and outfit. I am not a fashionista but if you see people that wear designer shirts and pants yet have tacky style shoes, it just makes them look childish
Update: a guy could wear a basic cheap white t shirt with some basic Levi jeans, yet if he has really stylish boots,

his whole presentation is already upgraded as stylish
Update 2: I guess my point is that it doesn't matter whether your shirt or pants are designer branded crap if you have generic or crappy shoes to match with it
