Could my stress be giving me nightmares?

I play high school football this plus school and stress at home, have been causing me to sleep less. I am beginning to have nightmares more and more often. Could my built up stress give me nightmares?

    Let's start with some common sense. Stress management won't hurt.. It's something everybody needs in this stress-filled society.

    yes, you should try something that sooths you before going to sleep, sometimes a warm glass of milk can help a lot believe it or not, you could also try Melatonin, which is a natural chemical your brain produces that tells it to sleep, you can buy this at a drug store, it's cheap, ask the pharmacist to recommend a dosage, hope you sleep better
