I can only speak for the UK- there are no typical meals really. We are a very multicultural country, plus the usual busy family life! Typical breakfasts might be nothing, a banana, yoghurt and granola, cereal with milk, toast and tea or coffee, on a weekend we might go for a 'full english' of eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, mushrooms, hash etc. Many working Brits eat lunch at their desk, a sandwich, Burger King or home-made salad.
Evening meal could be anything you might think of, depending on budget, cooking ability, time and family likes. Families often don't get to eat together, with both parents working and children having education pressures and extra activities such as sport, music and social activities, so weekends are when families have a dinner such as a roast with all the trimmings, or a take-away treat. During the week, school children can have a good meal at school, and often parents have stuff in the freezer to make quick meals for the evening that they have cooked and frozen.
