Manchester United have a lot of work to do if they're to even compete for major trophies, let alone win any, especially as our rivals have significantly strengthened, like top four this season would be miraculous.
We are leading you on a few cups, but you've got double our tally when it comes to Champions League trophies and that's the big one, I mean I'd happily have less league titles, if it meant we have more Champions League trophies, plus you're much more likely to win it again, than we have of even qualifying for it, especially this season.
The problem is, we keep pressing the reset button, like this is how our club ones:
Hire a new manager
Manager get's rid of players he doesn't rate or don't suit his style, often ones signed by the previous manager, like Mourinho got rid of Blind, Depay, Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger, all Van Gall signings, whilst Ole got rid of Lukaku, a Mourinho signing.
Next, the manager will bring in (or try to) players that suit his own system and will often have a second season to get them going, because some players need time to adapt.
The manager fails to get the going and the club no longer believe he's the saviour, so he get's sacked.
Plus now, if the club thinks Ole won't be able to bring in players, then we he may end up getting sacked, because they believe no one wants to play for him.
This is why I never get my hopes up going into a new season, regardless of who we sign, like if you look at who Van Gaal bought in, in his first season, we looked like we had a hell of a transfer windows, yet we only really scraped top four, despite not being in Europe at all, having finished 7th the season before - Falcao (loan), Di Maria, Blind, Shaw & Rojo.
