Harry meant that no one in the family desired that position, that it was something that one was born into as a job one day. Charles also spoke about this---becoming monarch meant that the monarch-parent dies, and no one--meaning him wanted a parent to die in order to assume the position of sovereign.
Harry and Charles, and William, have talked about the aspects of inherited monarchy. Charles and William have both stated that the role becomes more apparent to them as they grew up, that they did not think "Whoopee!! I'm going to be King!!" All have spoken about responsibilities, expectations, realistic or not, the ups and downs of being royal.
The proper pronoun for a male is "he."(Harry identifies as a male.)
