Why does “Scooby Doo” have a “Laugh track?”?

I grew up watching Scooby Doo, (who didn’t?) However, one of my biggest anxieties about Scooby Doo that always made me feel uncomfortable that I was always surprised by was that Scooby Doo had a “Laugh Track,” especially in Shaggy and Scooby Doo’s scenes, like the “Shaggy Sandwich,” scene in one of the Episodes.... show more I grew up watching Scooby Doo, (who didn’t?)
