Can I apply for a credit card and put a new annual income if I just got another job?

I just got a job as full time at a hotel, my job I already had was 9,000 annual income, but now my gross income with both jobs should be like 25,000, can I apply for a credit card and put that as my annual income and be okay?

Yes of course. You report what your current income is.

You can, it's not a lie. But this sounds like a recipe for bankruptcy. If you haven't earned any money yet. might be best to do that before you take on credit you can't pay back.

I talked to the credit card company and they said to wait a month until it’s verified my income will be higher and then I can apply. So I’m doing that
