What is the difference between trading in the NFL and the NBA?

I ask because there have been some comparisons made about trading between these 2 leagues recently in channels such as ESPN and I want someone to clear this up for me.

Trade deadline in the NBA falls much later in the season than the NFL's. Draft picks aren't as plentiful in the NBA as their draft is only 2 rounds; the NFL has more rounds. The salary cap in each league is different; the biggest difference is that NBA (along with MLB and NHL) contracts are guaranteed whilst NFL contracts are guaranteed for the current year only. The NBA has a developmental professional league the NBA D-League: the NFL does not have a developmental league which means it can't hide players or develop them in a minor league.
