When a hospital discharge summary have a medical diagnosis that is corrected such as hypokalemia. Is the diagnosis resolve.?

    certainly, a diagnosis is what you came in with and were worked up and treated for; hopefully most people go home with their diagnosis treated/corrected. And BTW, hypokalemia is LOW POTASSIUM not calcium/

    Hypokalemia is a lab result -- your calcium levels were low. That can be corrected, but the next step would be to determine WHY they were low, and if possibe, treat the underlying condition.
