Not necessarily. Poor people are often depressed about not having enough money. Rich people are also often depressed because they still don't feel satisfied with what they have.

Nope. Stressing about bills 24/7 does not lead to happiness.

I've known a few rich people who seem happy, but deep down wish they never had the responsibilities.

"Poor" can be defined as having nothing at all, to having the basic necessities.

I'd define myself as poor, but I keep my head afloat, and have food, clothing and shelter, and I'm quite content. See, if one can find happiness minus wealth, they're truly happy. If a wealthy person loses their wealth, they'll never know what it means to be happy without it.

Yes I believe that to be true. What fun is a video game with everything just unlock right alway, it’s fun to achieve things and not get everything you want

As long as basic needs (food, shelter, bills are being paid) are met, I think being poor or rich has little to do with personal happiness.

No, I think people who are low maintenance are happy with less though.

They have simpler lives so I think they are.

No. I heard that being poor makes people unhappy but after you're out of poverty the wealth doesn't increase happiness that much. I'm not sure if that's really true though.
